Clear-Com is excited to announce their return to the IBC Show in Amsterdam this September 9-12, following the show’s three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The company will exhibit at Stand #10.D29 and highlight its diverse portfolio of innovative intercom systems, including the highly anticipated Arcadia Central Station with HelixNet Digital Network Partyline integration, as well as the full range of FreeSpeak digital wireless solutions and the LQ Series of IP Interfaces. Remote and hybrid production has become the new norm, and Clear-Com will feature their wide range of virtual client solutions to facilitate these new workflows. Always a mainstay for broadcast applications, the Eclipse HX Digital Matrix will be demonstrated with key new features of software release EHX 13, including several redundancy solutions as well as role-based workflows, offering greater peace of mind combined with more flexibility for users.
“Since we were last at IBC in 2019, we’ve seen an accelerated adoption of hybrid and remote workflows as well as improvements in IP infrastructure,” said Chris Willis, Clear-Com’s Senior VP of Sales. “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to reconnect with the industry, especially with those who are implementing these new ways of working and communicating. We recognize the changing environment and hope to collect valuable feedback about how we can improve the user experience. And we’re excited to announce something new this year, too!”
The main spotlight at the Clear-Com stand will be on the award-winning Arcadia Central Station, now fully integrated with HelixNet. Arcadia Central Station is a scalable IP intercom platform that brings together wired and wireless systems along with third-party Dante devices in a single rack unit. The system’s flexibility allows it to meet numerous production needs, with support for over 100 beltpacks and offering configurations which can be expanded to up to 128 IP ports (and beyond, in future releases) as needed, giving Arcadia a competitive edge to accommodate various broadcast production needs and requirements.
Another highlight at the show will be the new features introduced in the EHX 13 update of the Eclipse® HX Digital Matrix. This latest release delivers role-based logins, N+1 IP card redundancy and network redundancy, ensuring a smooth and reliable workflow for Eclipse users. Eclipse systems can now support systems of up to 200 FreeSpeak beltpack in a single frame, via E-IPA cards, ensuring support for even the largest and most complex projects.
Clear-Com will also showcase the full range of FreeSpeak digital wireless systems including the latest addition, the FreeSpeak Edge Base Station, an IP base station that supports the full range of FreeSpeak endpoints across three wireless frequency bands (1.9, 2.4, and 5 GHz), as well as third-party Dante devices.
Also on display will be the company’s range of virtual clients, including the Agenct-IC Mobile App and Station-IC Virtual Desktop Client, and Trilogy Mercury Virtual Panel, which are all ideally suited to remote production. Finally, the company will showcase the LQ® Series, the audio-over-IP interfaces that move and distribute audio and communications signals.
