Another quality Audio studio handed over on time and within budget by Audio Schemes
Max Brodie, owner of Nice Sound asked us to build his new studio in the grade 2 listed Beehive mill in ancoats Manchester.
The mill was once home to one of the legendary clubs of the 90’s where I spent many a night SANKEYS.
It brought back a few memories and still has a vibe about the place.
Max went for a layered acoustic stretch fabric ceiling to give the studio a feeling of height.
Stretch fabric ceilings are labour intensive so can cost more than conventional ceiling build ups but look great and earn their keep when it comes to acoustic conditioning.
Grade 2 listed buildings have strict construction guidelines which can be problematic but do your home work and research and quality studio spaces can be achieved.
